Another award: “Freelancer’s Compass” was a finalist in the career category in the 2025 Next Generation Indie Book Awards, the world’s largest book awards program for independent publishers and self-published authors. According to the organization, “The awards are judged by leaders in the indie publishing industry, many of whom have had long careers at major publishing houses. Drawing on their deep experience and love of great storytelling, they recognize books that deserve a wider audience.”

Panel interview: I was on a panel with three other book authors discussing our books as part of the University of Washington’s Communication Leadership program’s Alumni Spotlight series. I had a good time discussing the book and sharing “lessons learned” about self-publishing. You can watch the hour-long program on YouTube.

5-star review: Literary Titan gave me a five-star review, along with a Best of the Best Book Award, and also published a Q&A with me about the book.
